Position Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of the resort’s technology environment, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, guest-facing systems, and departmental support. This role requires a combination of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with responsibilities that range from long-term planning and system optimization to immediate troubleshooting and cross-departmental collaboration.
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring that every system — from the property management system to entertainment and communication platforms — performs with excellence, reliability, and guest-centric focus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively monitor, maintain, and improve critical systems, including PMS, POS, HSIA, OTT, PBX, CCTV, and AV technologies
- Lead the implementation of system upgrades, integrations, and innovation projects to enhance operational performance and guest experience.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage and long-term scalability.
- Ensure flawless execution of guest-facing technologies to support exceptional service delivery.
- Promote technology as an enabler of memorable and seamless guest experiences.
- Provide responsive, courteous, and practical support to all resort stakeholders.
- Act as a strategic business partner to department heads across operations, food and beverage, spa, and front office.
- Train and support team members to confidently and effectively use resort technologies.
- Foster a service-oriented IT culture that is responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused.
- Take complete ownership of the resort’s IT infrastructure, security protocols, backup and disaster recovery systems, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, data privacy standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and business continuity protocols.
- Communicate transparently with leadership and peers regarding challenges, opportunities, and resource needs.
- Provide honest, data-driven assessments and propose actionable, realistic solutions.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality or resort sector
- Extensive knowledge of property-level systems: PMS, POS, HSIA, OTT, PBX, A/V, and surveillance technologies
- Demonstrated success managing IT projects, vendor contracts, system integrations, and cybersecurity protocols
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
- High degree of emotional intelligence and a guest-centric
