What you'll be doing...
Deliver a bespoke massage experience tailored to each guest’s needs, preferences, and wellness goals
Conduct thorough, discreet guest consultations to assess medical history, sensitivities, and treatment objectives
- Create a calm, welcoming, and restorative environment before, during, and after each service
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion, especially with VIP and repeat guests
- Educate guests on wellness recommendations and post‑treatment care when appropriate
Perform a wide range of modalities as detailed in our spa menu
Modify pressure, techniques, and modalities based on guest anatomy and comfort
- Remain current on therapeutic trends, luxury spa rituals, and integrative wellness practices
Adhere to all state licensing laws, hotel policies, and spa standard operating procedures
Maintain impeccably clean treatment rooms, linens, and equipment in accordance with hygiene protocols
- Accurately document guest preferences and treatment notes per spa guidelines
- Support retail initiatives by recommending premium spa products in a consultative, non‑transactional manner
- Collaborate with spa reception, management, and fellow therapists to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements....
- Active State‑Issued Massage Therapy License (required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a luxury spa, resort, hotel, or wellness setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
- Certification in advanced or specialty modalities a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Polished appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury hospitality brand
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak service hours; can discuss restrictions for part time needs.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace
Physical:
- 8+ hours per day at standing table;
- Stand and walk frequently throughout the workday
- Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally
