What you’ll do
You’ll be the go-to resource for all things benefits-related, overseeing group insurance programs, leave administration, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and billing reconciliation. Your day-to-day will include:
- Guiding and Supporting Employees - Be a trusted advisor on benefit offerings, helping employees navigate enrollment, life events, and leave with clarity and compassion.
- Delivering Seamless Administration - Oversee plan enrollments, payroll deductions, monthly billing reconciliations, and vendor relationships to ensure programs are accurate, efficient, and compliant.
- Championing Workplace Well-being - Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and workers' compensation claims; support return-to-work planning with care and sensitivity.
- Managing Compliance and Claims - Respond to unemployment claims, track filings, and ensure adherence to ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable state laws.
- Driving Process Excellence - Maintain SOPs, benefit documentation, and HRIS data integrity; partner across HR, Payroll, and Accounting to streamline processes and resolve issues.

You’re someone who thrives on creating positive employee experiences through precision, communication, and care. Your key strengths include:
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, including leave management, workers’ compensation, and billing reconciliation
- A passion for employee well-being and delivering exceptional service
- Strong working knowledge of benefits administration, leave laws, and claim processes
- Proven ability to manage complex billing reconciliations and compliance reporting
- Effective communication skills to support and educate employees and leaders
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms—UKG experience is a plus
- A collaborative and detail-oriented mindset in a fast-paced, multi-state environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
