Compensation: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour

About this job...

Run and manage the farm and greenhouse on a daily basis.

Planning, selecting, and purchasing of seeds and plants seasonally with coordination with Chef, whom this position reports into.

Overall maintenance and tending to the farm and greenhouse.

Harvesting and storing produce as needed at the farm.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace

Physical:

  • 8+ hours per day; stand and walk frequently throughout the workday
  • Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and pivot frequently through workday
  • Lift, lower, push, pull, and maneuver up to 75 pounds occasionally

His fondest memories growing up in The Great Lakes region include picnics and barbecues with his family, camping and cooking outdoors, shucking corn on the porch, and eating tomatoes straight off the vine. 

It’s no wonder he feels at home in Vermont and we’re so glad he’s here.
