Assistant Pastry Chef

Join our team as we open The Green Cat, a new bakery and café created by The Weston Hotel. We’re looking for a talented, organized, and enthusiastic Assistant Pastry Chef to help bring our pastry program to life. From flaky croissants to savory quiches and custom cakes, this is a hands-on role supporting the daily production of high-quality baked goods.
What You’ll DoSupport the Head Pastry Chef in daily preparation of pastries, breads, and savory baked items
Help develop and execute rotating seasonal specials and menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, tracking inventory, and prepping ingredients
Prepare custom items for special orders and events as needed
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Be part of a supportive and creative team in a brand-new space
