The Senior Director of Digital Marketing will lead all property digital marketing strategies, drive revenue growth, and enhance brand awareness across the First Hospitality portfolio. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of digital media (paid and owned), performance marketing, and hospitality industry insights that will align marketing efforts while delivering results.
What you’ll be doing…
Develop Digital Marketing Strategies and Content:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with portfolio and property objectives
- Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including but not limited to; Koddi, SEO, SEM, OTAs, TravelAds, Sojern, social media, display advertising, geo-fencing
- Manage website strategy and optimization to enhance user experience, increase conversions, and drive direct bookings
- Directly lead independent hotel digital marketing efforts
- Develop and manage digital audit process and execution across the portfolio
- Lead email marketing efforts including content calendar, email creation and reporting
- Collaborate with revenue management and sales teams to align digital marketing strategies with business goals
- Collaborate with a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and recommendations
- Utilize data analytics (First Analytics) and marketing intelligence to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance
- Oversee digital partnerships, brand specific opportunities and affiliate marketing programs
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all digital channels
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to drive innovation
- Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective campaigns and high ROI
- Ensure compliance of all digital marketing staying up-to-date with current hotel guidelines
Success factors…
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing within the hospitality industry
- Must have independent hotel digital marketing experience
- Brand experience (Hiton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt) is a plus
- Proven leadership experience managing digital marketing teams and external agencies
- Expertise in performance marketing, paid media, Koddi, SEO, and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
- Strong understanding of website management, best practices, and conversion rate optimization
- Proficient in email marketing planning and execution
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing automation, and personalization strategies
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Highly organized with strong communication skills and a teamwork style to accomplishing goals
- Organization Skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task required
- Ability to build positive relationship with internal customers in the field and at the Corporate Office

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations
- Must be self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines
- Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Physical:
- 8+ hours per day sitting desk/computer; stand and walk occasionally throughout workday
- Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday
