Compensation: Starting at $15.00 per hour plus tips

JOB SUMMARY: As an Abbey Resort associate, you will have the opportunity to be part of an incredible team at an all service resort situated on the beautiful shores of Geneva Lake. BASIC FUNCTION: The Shuttle Driver provides safe, timely, and courteous transportation for resort guests and associates. This position focuses solely on transportation services and vehicle care and does not perform porter responsibilities except assisting passengers with loading and unloading luggage.  This position may perform valet duties for guests. 

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Must meet all legal requirements to transport passengers.

Previous professional driving experience preferred.

Ability to safely assist guests with luggage weighing up to 70 pounds.

Knowledge of the Lake Geneva area preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Safely operate resort shuttle vehicles.
  • Transport guests and associates according to established schedules.
  • Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.
  • Complete mileage, maintenance, and transportation logs.
  • Report mechanical concerns immediately.
  • Maintain communication with the Front Desk regarding transportation requests.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and resort safety policies.
  • Provide friendly, professional service and local information during transportation.
  • Report accidents, citations, or incidents immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.        

MARIGINAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.
  • Any other task, written or verbal, assigned by Management.
  • Maintain the highest level of employee/guest relations.
  • Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observe violations to Human Resources.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all Departments.
