About this job…

The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational functions of the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient internal processes. The role acts as a central point of coordination between departments, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to maintain service standards, optimize workflow, and address operational challenges in real time. 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Coordinate daily hotel operations across departments to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Assist leadership in executing operational plans, schedules, and service standards
  • Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and resolve issues
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory tracking, and supply management
  • Ensure timely follow-up on service requests, maintenance needs, and guest concerns
  • Coordinate special events, VIP arrivals, group bookings, and internal projects
  • Support front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service and resolve escalated guest issues
  • Assist in implementing service improvement initiatives
  • Support audits, inspections, and quality control initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, brand standards, and safety regulations
  • Support and complete other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements…

Experience & Education: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

  • 1–3 years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality environment

  • Experience in multi-department coordination is a plus

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong diplomacy skills with focus on problem solving
  • Strong administrative skills with intermediate experience with Microsoft Office systems
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace

Physical:

  • 8+ hours per day; stand, sit, and walk frequently throughout the workday
  • Lift, lower, push, pull, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally
