Hutton Hotel Nashville is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages, limited cocktails and café offerings while delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for hotel guests and visitors.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a guest-focused environment and take pride in providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities...

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and light café offerings for all F&B outlets according to established standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee beverages, brewing methods, house-made syrups, ingredients and menu offerings.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of café workstations and equipment.
• Prepare and restock and organize ingredients, supplies, and café items as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to support daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong team orientation.
• Ability to plan and execute daily prep list while balancing guest-facing service.
• Food Handler/Serv Safe certification and TABC license required (or ability to obtain).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and movement during service.
