Line Cooks serve a critical role in delivering a high-quality dining experience by executing menu items with consistency, precision, and efficiency. Working alongside the culinary team, this position is responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that meet the steakhouse’s standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Line Cooks must be adaptable, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

What you’ll be doing…

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards

• Execute orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality during high-volume service

• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station with all necessary supplies

• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling in compliance with food safety standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Assist with prep work, banquets, and special events as needed

• Monitor product levels and communicate shortages or needs to leadership

• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support other stations when needed

• Uphold consistency in food quality and presentation across all dishes

Requirements…

What We Are Looking For...

• 1+ years of cooking experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes with consistency
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to work independently and remain productive during slower periods
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements... 

• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and pivoting throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Skills...

• Experience in a steakhouse or fine dining environment
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, cuts of meat, and temperature control
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
