About this Hotel...
We’re not a “heads-in-beds” kind of hotel. We are not a typical premium select hotel. Our hotel has a story, a legacy, and even a museum. We’re a place people choose—for business, for celebrations, for experiences that actually feel memorable. Our team believes hospitality should be smart, warm, and a little bit bold. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
About this job...
As our Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be the voice, the strategy, and the closer. You’ll lead revenue-driving efforts across group, transient, corporate, and local market segments—while partnering closely with operations to ensure what we sell is exactly what guests experience.
This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to create a fun sales incentive contest, build relationships, inspire a team, read a P&L, and still enjoy the win of a well-executed deal.
What you'll be doing...
- Create and execute a sales & marketing strategy that moves the needle and makes a difference
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Drive group, corporate business travel, and catering revenue through proactive outreach
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, community partners, and brand teams
- Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing, forecasting, and demand strategy
- Represent the hotel in the market—networking, hosting, and telling our story
- Track performance, celebrate wins, and course-correct when needed
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Success factors...
Experience & Education:
- 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience (DOSM or senior sales role)
- Proven success driving group and transient revenue in a competitive market
- Strong understanding of hotel financials, forecasting, and revenue strategy
- A leadership style that’s FUN, confident, collaborative, and motivating
- Excellent communication skills— sell, present, and influence
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace
- A genuine love for hospitality (yes, it matters here)
Physical:
- 8+ hours per day sitting desk/computer; stand and walk occasionally throughout workday
- Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday
Why you'll love working here…
- A hotel with personality — and leadership that encourages it
- A collaborative culture where sales, ops, and revenue work together
- Competitive salary, unlimited bonus potential, and benefits
- Autonomy to build strategy and make an impact
- A company that values results and how you get there
