About the Role...
As a key player in the revenue generation team, the Director of Sales at Hyatt Place Ann Arbor drives success through goal setting, team motivation, and innovative sales strategies. A keen understanding of market trends, exceptional networking abilities, and strong negotiation skills are essential for this role.
Lead the charge in developing and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan, exceeding revenue goals, and maximizing market share for the hotel.
Your Responsibilities...
- Analyze market competition and trends to identify client needs
- Develop revenue management strategies including rate development and demand analysis
- Secure new business using proven sales strategies
- Mentor and coach the sales team
- Maximize revenue contribution from all segments
- Coordinate sales calls and client contract processes
- Engage with clients to build lasting relationships
- Promote hotel loyalty programs and special packages
- Ensure client expectations are met and challenges resolved
- Maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand
What You Bring...
Experience & Education:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in hotels or related field
- 4-year degree in hospitality management or sales preferred
Communication:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to speak, read, and write effectively
Physical:
- Comfortable with long hours seated at a desk
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 10 pounds
- Dexterity and mobility required
