About this job...

Dishwashers are the backbone of the kitchen operation, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of all prep-, dish-, and bar-ware.  Dishwashers must be highly organized, efficient, and have a great attention to detail.

What you'll be doing...

· Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines

· Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

· Follows recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the company.

· Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.

· Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills.

· Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.

· Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.

· Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.

· To maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.

· To practice safe work habits at all times and to avoid injury to self and others.

· To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the property handling of all relevant equipment and machinery.

· To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.

· Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the executive chef 

   Assist with dish and line support when needed

Requirements...

• Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Able to stand, walk, reach, pivot, and stoop frequently and repeatedly 
• Able to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 50 pounds frequently
