Compensation: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

What you’ll be doing…

  • Lead other banquet house person in setting up all meeting rooms
  • Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This involves transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc. from storage areas to meeting rooms.
  • Responsible for timely and safe breakdown of meeting rooms after event completion. Reset products for the next function.
  • Maintain an established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization are done in a timely manner and assist the supervisor during large functions.
  • Take on additional tasks as necessary or assigned by Banquet Managers and Captains.

You should be able to…

  • Communicate with guests, other associates, and supervisors.
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Lift and move multiple tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 100 lbs. through a crowded room with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms. For example, round, boardroom, reception, U-Shape, etc.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 500 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
